Your Bracing Appointment

A Bracing Specialist will evaluate your situation, whether based on a prescription or your described symptoms and pain, and suggest the most appropriate brace. You’ll also be measured for the brace.

Appointment Requirements:

We recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure availability. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Prescription/Referral:

You don’t need a prescription to consult our Bracing Specialist. However, many insurance companies require a prescription for reimbursement. Check with your insurer for specific requirements.

Preparing for Your Brace Appointment:

    • Arrive 10 minutes early to complete registration and paperwork.

    • Bring any necessary prescriptions or referrals for insurance purposes.

    • Wear or bring shorts for accurate brace measurements.

Insurance Coverage:

Insurance coverage varies. We can contact your insurer to determine coverage and requirements for reimbursement. We offer direct billing to health plans that allow it, which must be arranged before your appointment. Call us to inquire if your plan supports direct billing. Some plans may require you to pay upfront and submit receipts for reimbursement.
